Ghostly Phone Calls From Departed Friend
To let everyone know Roger Carbaugh was my best friend. Well anyways, I was in job corps in Denison, Iowa and everyone who goes there has to stay for two weeks before going home on a weekend pass.
It was Friday and I was going to leave because Roger had planned to pick me up. He was running late so I called him at his house and I asked when he was coming. He told me he was leaving in like 20 minutes so I said “alright I’ll see you when you get here” then I hung up.
Less then two minutes later my aunt calls and tells me to sit down. Then she told me Roger had died last night and I told her there was no way because I just got finished talking to him.
Later the next day she and her husband came and picked me up. I thought they were just joking until I had talked to Roger’s Pastor.
When I got back to job corps I was back for two months and than I get another phone call and it was Roger. He told me he was alright. Then I called Rogers pastor and told him what had happened. He thought someone I knew had prank called me from Roger’s house, but his house had nothing in it.
The pastor had the police go see if anyone had broken into his house. All the doors were locked and there was Roger’s old chair in the back room with the phone there. The police said someone had to be playing a prank on me, but the time of the call was when Roger’s Sister went to go get the rest of Roger’s Stuff out. She said she threw the chair and phone a way like three weeks before the phone call.
This was the freakiest thing that ever happened to me

Ghosts Of A Mother And Child
This is a true ghost story.
My friend lived in a house that was very old. None of us ever thought it would be haunted, until one night.
My friend had a huge party. We watched movies, ate pizza, the normal sleep over stuff. Anyway, we just got done watching a scary movie and decided to go to bed. We slept on the floor in the living room in her basement.
I stayed up talking to my friend, Jessi, until 11. Then we went to bed. I woke up around 1 to hear a baby crying. My friend doesn’t have a baby sister or brother. I woke up Jessi and we went toward the sound. It was coming from the spare bedroom by the bathroom. We were too scared to go inside the bedroom.
We screamed and woke up everyone. They all asked what whs wrong, so we told them. They thought we were joking, trying to scare them, but we weren’t.
A few hours later I woke up again. I heard the same sound, but a mother singing what sounded like a lullaby. I immediately woke up Jessi. She woke up everyone else so we could prove we weren’t telling a lie.
We decided to walk toward the bedroom where it was coming from. When we got to the room, we saw a figure rocking a cradle. We were so scared. We slowly moved away from the room and didn’t fall asleep the rest of the night. We thought about telling someone about it, but they probably wouldn’t believe us.
A few days later we decided to look at the house papers. They said that a mother named Louise lived in the house with her newborn son named William. They were murdered in 1855.

Does This Ghost Want Me Out?
One night I was walking on my normal walk around the block. I started getting goosebumps on my skin though. I thought to myself, there is no such thing as ghosts. But after that night I do believe in them.
Well anyways, when I was on my walk I started getting goosebumps. All of a sudden a gush of air went between my legs. I thought to myself its probably just the wind, but there was no wind that night.
So I kept walking thinking what a beautiful night it was when I hear “Move!” I almost screamed, it freaked me out that bad. I looked all around me but saw nothing. I said, go away you, you thing. But it would not leave me alone. After I heard “Move!” I ran for my life.
When I got home my mom told me to go put the bikes away. So I did and I heard it again but louder “Move!” I said, what do you want from me, in a small voice. “Move far away from me, you are disturbing me ahhh!”
I told whatever it was that he/she died and it isn’t there property any more. It felt like someone was right in front of me and pushed me down. I ran into my porch light. I was bleeding every where. My leg was bleeding from my thigh all the way down to my toes.
I went back to the shed and found the bikes. I started to cry and my mom yelled out the window, “what’s all the yelling out there!” “Nothing,” I said, “I wasn’t screaming. I am only crying”.
So when I got back inside I told her what happened. She said, “its just your imagination,” but right then when she started cleaning the dishes again a dish was floating and dropped. To this day I think it wants me out.

Ghost Boy At The Foot Of The Bed
Hi my name is Loretta and the story I am about to tell you is true. I was about 18 when this happened to me, and I lived with my mom.
I was lying in my bed in the dark trying to fall asleep. My room was very tiny and I had a day bed by the wall and a small dresser in front of it. I remember the one window I had in that room was in front of the dresser because the moon light shone through the window.
Struggling to fall asleep I looked up and saw a young boy about six years of age tossing what looked like silver rings. As he was doing this he looked at me and continued to do this. Well I screamed and ran to my mom’s room and slept there till morning.
My younger sister had stayed the night at a friends house the night this happened and was home now. I didn’t tell her what happened to me but night time came and we did share the room and bed.
I remember waking up from a deep sleep and seeing a black figure looking over my sister. I tried to hit it with a pillow but it didn’t even move.
I woke up my sister and told her what had happened. I also told my mom and she said she’s been seeing things in that house too. She said that things like that were happening to us because of our personal lives and things we were going through.
Later on she told us that we also had a history of witch craft in our family from back in the day, not that we practice it. A lot of other things have happened to us but I will type it in another time if you like this one.
By the way this happened in San Marcos Texas and I am now 28. Things still happen to me till this day.

Shadow Man | Was It Granddad’s Ghost?
About two years ago my granddad passed away. I was so sad. I was only nine at the time. I’m now 11. He give me a doll house he had built himself, so I put it on top of my wardrobe
A couple of days later I saw this shadow near my wardrobe. It had long hair like a girl. Then I saw it again, but this time it had no hair. At first I just thought it was my shadow because I have always been scared of my shadow ever since being a little toddler.
Then I went to a mates sleepover and I told them about it. They thought I was messing about, but the next morning my mate Amy saw it. It couldn’t have been my shadow because it was standing at the top of the stairs as I was walking up.
I started to tell other people and it started to not came as often. I told my mum. She said, when you see it shout at me, so I did and my mum didn’t see anything. She said I was going weird.
A few days later I heard someone come down the stairs. I thought it was older sister or older brother. I was on the laptop in the front room when I heard it. It came down the stairs and opened the door and walked in. I screamed, it was just standing there.
My sister came in and said “what’s wrong” and I told her, but she didn’t believe me. I told my mum to come and this time she saw it. I told loads more people about it and it started to go away. I have not seen it since, but I’m sure it was my granddad checking on me. love you granddad miss you loads.

Mirror Ghost Woman
Okay, this phenomena started happening to me three years ago.
It all started one night, when I woke up for no apparent reason. I finally break through the hazy stupor of my sleep. My bed is located in the left corner of my room, against the wall. They face the closet.
I wake up and I stare in to the mirror, and I am startled to see a bluish orb with white edges, out of the corner of my eye. I look next to me, and there’s nothing there. As I look into the mirror again, I see a young woman, with short hair, like a boy hair cut, really short, Bermuda length pants and a white mid-arm sleeved shirt.
I look back next to my bed, where she should be standing, but she’s not there! I look back again at the mirror and I see her again.
As I stare at her face, a very pretty one, and I see an expression of sadness in her eyes. like if she was trapped. Her face looked too old fashioned to be wearing such modern clothes, Early 1700’s.
I finally looked away and looked next to me. And she wasn’t there. I look at the mirror again, and she’s gone. I didn’t get scared. I just felt a kind of sadness, pity.
After that time, I’ve never seen her again. But I’ve felt her presence, as well as a bunch of others, only that I feel an evil lurking in them. And since my great grandmother and my grandmother were mediums, I’ve seemed to inherit their strong connection to the spiritual world.
This is the only kind spirit I have witnessed, since the rest of them have evil intentions. After that, I can sense her when she enters my room in the dead of night. I can’t see her, but I feel when she sits down on my right leg, and dangles of the edge of my bed.

The Scary Haunted Doll
This story might not seem as scary as the others I have read on here but I at least wanted to share it.
When I was about five me, my brother, who was ten, and my mom lived in this two bedroom apartment. My brother and I shared a room. The room was fairly small and so my bed was up against one wall on the left side of the room away from the door and my brother’s was on the right side of the room closest to the door.
We had book shelves at the foot of our beds with about two feet of space between the bed and the shelf. I had books and toys on the shelves and one of my dolls was sitting on the very top. It had blonde hair and blue eyes. I think it was the type of doll that once you set her back her eyes would close.
One night I was laying in bed and the doll jumped from the top shelf onto the foot of my bed. No window was open. No one else, but my bother and I were in the room. There was no earthquake and no explanation as to why it suddenly jumped off the shelf and was on my bed.
I whispered to my brother to see if he had seen it and he had. I don’t remember what we did that night with the doll, but I do remember that the next day we took it next door to where our cousin lived. He lived in a two level house that had a balcony.
My brother and I told him our story. He was skeptical but understood that we were freaked out about it and so we threw the doll off of his balcony to, I don’t know, kill it. We then went down to pick it up, it was face down. When we turned it over the three of us saw it wink at us. It actually winked, closed one eye with the other eye still open, and then opened its eye again to where both eyes were staring straight at us. It even had this wicked twist of a smile to its lips. We were so freaked out.
We then decided we had to get rid of the doll. About a block away there was this abandoned building that had a chain link fence around it. It was a small building and you could see the roof top. We threw the doll onto the top of the roof and left. A few days later we went back to see if the doll was still there and it wasn’t. We were freaked.
Still to this day my brother, cousin and I will tell the story of the possessed doll. I truly believe in the paranormal.
