My Ghost Story

My parents, younger sister, Rachel, and I moved into our new house in 2005. I was excited about moving into this new house and it seemed really cool at the time.

Not long after we had moved in, I thought I heard Rachel crying, and went downstairs to find out why. When I got downstairs, I found her on the couch… fast asleep. I didn’t think much about it then. My imagination is usually pretty vivid.

But in August 2006, my parakeet died. I was really upset because she was my best friend. Quite a few times, for the rest of that year, I thought I heard her but thought that It was just the floor creaking, since it’s kinda old.

But then, in January, I woke up around 1:30 am. For some reason, I looked to the wall to the right of my bed. Oddly enough, their was a small, glowing form that seemed to be leaning against the chair I have there. It looked about the size of a 2 year old, even though it was standing. I just laid there, staring at it for about an hour.

Then,to my relief, Rachel started crying next door. I jumped up and ran to her room. Luckily, my mom also woke up, and told me that it was ok and to go back to bed. I made it through the night.Since then, nothing that odd has happened.

The Ghost Cat

My name is Yvonne, I am 19. Last year a girl came to stay with me for a couple of months, we were good friends. She shared a bed with me and at this time I owned a water bed, very sensitive to movement.

One night I was in my father’s room when I heard some purring and felt like what was a cat, showing the affection with its claws. I smelt it, felt it, and heard it. This went on for several months, my friend, boyfriend, and little brother would inform me about a black cat rubbing up against my legs and sleeping with me on my water bed.

I got to the point where I called him Garfield because he felt fat and was only present on my bed. He was always around me and only me.

One night I called one of my friends who does research on this kind of stuff and he told me it was a “watcher”, an omen. He told me it could be somebody watching me or meaning something bad was going to happen to me. This scared me.

I kicked at the cat, batted at it, and moved, but he was still on my bed. So I just put it off, took on the cat as a thing that will be there for the rest of my life. After awhile, I didn’t feel him anymore. He had left and I was kinda upset. He was like a person or an animal that you were use to being there and just left. Its been almost a year and I still hear him and feel him on occasions.

Is This An Angel Or A Demon?

In 2006, this happened in my old house, back in New York. I was sleeping in my bed, it was probably about 2:00 in the morning (I’m guessing). Then I wake up from this deep sleep, not knowing the reason why I woke up.

I wake up and I see this little country western girl sitting right in front of my bed, in a wooden chair. She had blond hair that was tied into two side braids, probably about six - nine years old, had a white dress on (looked like she was wearing a night gown) and was wearing no shoes on.

When I saw her, I didn’t really freak out. It was like her presence just calmed me. Don’t get me wrong, I was scared but calm. Weird right?

The only people at my house that day was my parents and my sister, she was 13 years old at the time. There was no one in my house that has blonde hair. The “thing” didn’t look like a ghost to me at the moment. She just stared at me in a relaxing way.

Now that I actually think about it, I think she might have been my guardian angel. I never found out what that “thing” really was. Questions are always rushing through my mind. Can it be? This is a true story! Believe or not.

The Old Victorian House

When I was about 8 or so we moved into this old Victorian three family home. my mum just had an uneasy feeling about it, just a bad feeling.

the first few days was ok after a week we had these strange feelings of being watched and cold sections in the house. a week later my mother claimed to see the bed shake right in front of her soon after most of the pictures in the living room would be on the floor and some small furniture would be moved. then it became constant, soon the trash in the kitchen would be dumped all over the floor, kinda looked like a dog got ahold of it.

every morning would be something new, cabenet doors opened, lights still on, it just seemed to get worst and worst as the days and weeks came along. we moved out about 6 weeks after we moved in and nothing really happened like that again. this is what got me involved in the paranormal.

I really have no rational explanation for what happened and still try to find a reason. it all seems like the spirit or ghost in the home just didn’t want us their, looking back maybe it was trying to say ‘the longer you stay, the worst it’ll get’. anyways this was my encounter

The Old Lady

One rainy night a taxi driver saw an old lady walking slowly on the road. Feeling sorry for her,he stop and asked if she wanted a ride. The old lady excepted the offer and got in the taxi.

Due to the storm, the street lights were out. The driver could barely see the lady in the back seat. He asked, “So were do you live Ma’am”? “Just keep going I’ll show you which house is mine”, replied the old lady. So the driver just kept on driving.

All of a sudden the lady ordered him to stop in front of an old house. She said softly,”Money is inside my house just wait out here and I’ll bring it out to you”. The driver didn’t mind waiting.

Ten minutes has passed and the lady still hasn’t come out of the house. He was starting to get very impatient so,he decided to come to the house. He knocked firmly on the three times.
Finally the door opened, but it wasn’t the same lady. The driver told her about the lady he had picked up. The lady at the door was in shocked. She that lady was her great grandmother. She had been dead for over twenty years.
